I don't want what's more than appropriate. You say that you know what I'm thinking. How come arrogance is trendy? It helped you up to befriend me. Now, one exchange can mean so much to one who thinks that she was born just to be the bearer of the burden you bring into this world. It felt good, passion can't wait. Eighteen years, you just can't relate to all the things I've sacrificed to lay my money down and roll the dice. Don't want what's more than appropriate. My mind can be creative. One exchange can mean so much to one who thinks that she really knows you. You gotta dress it up just to get it on. Sometimes it's good to do some wrong. How was I supposed to know the burden I'd inherit with the throne? Oh my god I feel the pressure coming down on me. Ooo yeah, I used to have affection for the things that I'd see; but who decides what's right and wrong? Who writes the checks? I don't want what's more than appropriate. Dress it up just to get it on. How was I supposed to know the burden I'd inherit with the throne?

Remember back when you were twenty and you thought you knew some stuff? You didn't think to count money but that's just the way it was. Go for a walk on a Summer night with someone brand new... cause you're on the edge of something better. All the while when you was talking what did you say back then? Something fresh, something cool you weren't no old has-been. You did a lot of crazy things and you got away with them... but you're on the edge of something better. You're on the edge of something better. Don't think I'm being insensitive to you. I just want you to watch your head when you cross that sacred line. Yeah, but you haven't a clue. You cut all your hair off and your face was turning red. You like the alternative instead. You think you know just what you're doing but how could that even be close to the truth? Chill out for a while. Yeah, you're gonna run the body down into smoke.

I've strayed far from the way I feel about it. Don't know just what you are to me. I guess I always knew it'd happen but I didn't know just how. Then you appeared and it looked good. I thought it through and it felt good. There was nothing you could do I had to have it soon. I'm a gentle man till I get you alone and the things that I do then should never be known. No smiles, no frowns. Just trying to keep it together. Don't hold back tears cause I collect those in the palm of my hand. I took you over to the park under cover of dark. My heart was racing when I came. That's when I said your name. You ask me what I've been thinking of. It's the way our lock and key fit like hand in glove. No smiles, no frowns. Just trying to keep it together. Don't hold back tears cause I collect those in the palm of my hand. If there's one thing I want you know it's that I would like to have some more before I go. No smiles, no frowns. Just trying to keep it together. Don't hold back tears cause I collect those in the palm of my hand.

You need a friend, love. Well, don't suspend love. Keep it on the side. You got a secret but you have to keep it. Hold the truth inside no matter what. Don't say much. You better keep your charm intact for fun cause you can't take it back once it's done. Where's that has-been, fake religion? Entertaining superstitions... No room for me there. I don't belong. You better keep your charm intact for fun cause you can't take it back once it's done. You need a friend, love. Well, don't suspend love. Keep it on the side. You got a secret but you have to keep it. Hold the truth inside no matter what. Don't say much.
